When it comes to colours in design, whether it be digital, print or even interior design, I mostly like to stick to 2 or 3 basic colours (excluding the colour of the canvas or background). Any more colours than this and you end up with a mess or something that looks like a rainbow or is meant for children (which is fine if that is what you are going for). These 2 or 3 colours or subtle variations of these basic colours will be used together becoming a colour theme.

I recently discovered via Facebook the internet phenomenon that is the Old Spice Guy. If you don't know what I'm talking about, search for 'Old Spice Guy' on Google and you will see that he is everywhere. He is the work of marketing geniuses working for Procter & Gamble selling Old Spice - a well known brand of mens fragrance that has been around since the 1930s.

Why is Internet Explorer a Bad Browser?

As an IT professional I must admit that I have grown an intense dislike for Internet Explorer. It didn't start like this. I didn't automatically have a bone to pick with Microsoft and Internet Explorer for holding a giant monopoly or anything like that. In fact a long time ago, like many people I used IE as my default browser quite happily not bothering to upgrade to any other browser because IE did what I needed it to.
